While I was in Korea my mom and younger sister, Kendall, came to visit for 10 days! While there, we were all fantasizing about my mom and I making a similar trip to go visit Kendall in Spain during her semester studying abroad the following year. However, at the time, I thought I would be settled up in Boston with a great job at a large Student Travel Company. Fast forward a year and a halfish...I'm living in Memphis, miserable in my job as a receptionist at a Travel Agency and recently accepted to a Graduate program at Portland State University. I was helping my mom plan her trip to see K in Spain when she said, "Man, I really wish you could come with me." And it hit me, "Why can't I?" We originally thought I would be locked in to a great job, but I hate my job and am just killing time until I move to Portland. I would MUCH rather quit early and go to Spain than stay here!!
Before I knew it, I had decided to quit my job, Monica, my older sister, had decided to join us and bring along 3 month old baby Carter, and we had peer-pressured my Aunt Lynnie into coming along too! We hoped Spain and Kendall were ready for this motly crew!
We had 4 separate flights from 4 different cities all connecting in Atlanta before we boarded our nonstop flight to Madrid!

Once we made it to Madrid, we had to make our way to the bus station and make the 5hr bus journey to the south of Spain to Granada, the city where K is studying.
